@doschicos, I’m still chuckling about your “scything” comment from last week. Last night’s episode had so many good outcomes that I fear for the inevitable downside ahead. I particularly enjoyed Demelza tackling Jud for eating her pie.
LOL, yes, a homemade pie is certainly worth fighting over.
I just ordered the DVD. I’ve been watching it on PBS online and the commercials were driving me crazy. Plus, I found out that the US version is chopping 7 - 9 minutes off of each episode. No wonder the transitions seem strange.
Now I’ll have even more tequila to drink while I watch the moors!

Great episode this week. Love Verity, Ross, and of course, Demelza. Loved the opening scene, the pie scene, and loved how all the men were ogling Demelza. And, of course, what they tell each other at the end of the episode.
I’m watching 2 episodes next week. My husband and I misused it this week. So we will watch the rerun of this week at 6pm and then the new episode at 9:00pm. We will not work Monday so that’s ok to stay later than our bed time.

I got the DVD and watched all eight episodes. They’ve cut a lot of small scenes with Jinny. She has a beautiful face, like something from a Renaissance painting and I enjoyed watching the full episodes with her.

I watched last week episode this week and this week episode next week. Had a hard day in the yard and not sure we would stay awake to watch it for the whole hour.

I have the DVD and watched a lot of episode 6 on “fast play” because I couldn’t stand the tension.
I miss it when Ross doesn’t have any reason to smile 
Not only was there little happiness, but when the camera showed the scythe in action, I was so disappointed when the camera pulled out and it was just Francis, shirt on.
Suggestion: less talk about copper smelting and more topless Ross scything.
I don’t think SimplyJune is working any more. I did binge watch the whole season earlier, though.
For those of you who have watched the entire season, are they anticipating a second season for the new series? Or put another way, does this season end the way the second season of the first series ended?
There will be a second season and it will end at the same time that the original second season ended. Sometime in 1799. Apparently, the books go on from there (there are 12 of them and I believe the end of 7th book is where the TV series ends.).
