What is your opinion regarding it?

International unifier.

-I have never seen any solid evidence for it, so I do not believe in it.
No, that’s not right.

-I believe in it because I have felt it’s presence in my life.
Noooooooo, that’s just…

I geuss a/theist arguments don’t work everywhere. :/

Depressing comic relief

Available everywhere, comics, TV.
It’s disgusting.

Disgusting, I agree. Never watch it, never plan to (moral reasons).

interesting, i figured more people here would enjoy porn.

I partake in the occasional porno myself ;)

Apparently pornocracy is a real word, even if Chrome doesn’t think so. It was first used in 1860. Apparently porne means harlot, so a pornocracy would be a state ruled by prostitutes.

I really can’t understand why people would be turned on by two genitals, when in reality it kind of disturbs me…
There is no love between the two (or more) people and what they are doing just becomes pointless and meaningless.
And what’s worse is that a lot of porn stars were raped or sexually abused when they were young, so to them, sex is probably not “making love”.
Come on, when you think about it that way, is this really something that turns you on?

yes, yes it is

Didn’t someone on here say that they recognized a family member on screen when walking in on a friend watching porn?

Love is not a necessity for sexual arousal. Not for males, not for females, not *really/I for anyone. That doesn’t mean that everyone watches porn or that it would arouse everyone, but the idea that it can’t because you don’t love the people on the screen or the people on the screen don’t love each other, therefore it can’t arouse anyone, just doesn’t make sense. The fact that porn exists and people consume it is evidence of that.

Huh ?

porn’s just… there. watch if it you want, god knows there’s plenty floating around on the internet lol

^^ Beat me to it, HL.

I really can’t understand people who are against it.

“We know that more than seventy to eighty percent of women masturbate, and ninety percent of men masturbate, and the rest lie.” - Jocelyn Elders. Also fact.

The Internet is really really great…
For Porn,
I’ve got a fast connection so I don’t have to wait
For Porn,
There’s always some new site,
For Porn
I browse all day and night
For Porn,
It’s like I’m searching at the speed of light,
FOR PORNNNNN

Why you think the net was born? PORN PORN PORN.
Avenue Q is great. :]

Fiction, rather.

I have never watched porn, though I’ve seen precisely one no-breasts/genitals nudity sex scene (in “Diary of a Call Girl”). Honestly, porn doesn’t appeal to me. I’ve read some lemons in the ff.net world, and maybe I’m a hypocrite for feeling that porn is more srs bzn, but I doubt I could ever watch it without feeling like a perv.

That being said, I do not judge those who do watch porn or even act in porn. It’s freedom of speech. Porn stars choose to be in those films; though I would not choose to do so myself, it is their body and it is their right to do what they wish with it as long as no one else is harmed in the process.

Just so you are aware, many believe that the mere existence or availability of porn IS harmful to society, i.e. there’s no such thing as a “private” sense of morality (that is, it is possible to be hurtful to society as a whole from the privacy of your bedroom, or wherever).
