There’s a going away party for one of my exchange students friends! =)
I can’t wait!

I play piano and guitar
I wanna get really really good at both instruments. Like, super good. I just had an epiphany that I just really love playing instruments. I always knew I liked performing, I act and dance, and I love both. Music has always been apart of my life, but I kinda just realized how much I love playing instruments and that I’m good too. I want to learn how to play the violin too! And maybe a lot more, including trumpet!

Haha, I can play the violin but I’m not that good:P. I’ve always wanted to figure out how to play the guitar though.

I really want to go by the beach right now and take a simple stroll.

Maybe in 2 weeks time - I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Wah!

I have an interest in way too many things! Someone help me…! D:

This summer, I want to “focus” on:
*Writing my novel
*Writing short stories and poems
*Learn Japanese (all the kanji)
*Play the piano a lot
*Play the guitar a lot
*Learn hip hop and bboying
*Acting class
*Voice lessons

And I have to do tennis and drivers ed
(tennis is from 6-8 am, drivers ed 10am-12pm).

I want to excel at only a couple, but I like them all! What should I do?

and doing what I want to do as a career won’t help D:
I want to be a performer in Asia.
So that makes the list:
*Learn Japanese (all the kanji)
*Play the piano a lot
*Play the guitar a lot
*Learn hip hop and bboying
*Acting class
*Voice lessons

But I love writing…! (One reason I started the blog site…)

I don’t know what to do… >.<

piano and guitar…ahh nice. Big instruments in the music world

I want to learn how to play piano, guitar, cello, french horn, trombone, etc.

Umm…I will think on that list…I see a couple that I would cut out…but how many are you hoping to shorten it to?

You can probably fit most of them in but you’ll end up with a really busy summer:p.

^Haha it’s already going to be busy, with a 2 week trip to Israel :P

I want to shorten that list enough that I can become extraordinary at the chosen ones. Arrows indicate where I want to be by the end of high school.

Japanese is a must –> Fluent by beginning of 11th grade. (Learning Korean in 11th and 12h grade, taking Spanish all 4 years).

Guitar and Piano –> Level 8 in both by end of HS (learn keyboard and electric guitar too)

Voice, Dance, and Acting –> Pretty good in all. I’m hopping to be in a couple of commercials, tv shows, and catalogs.

Writing –> Publish novel, sign for a 5 part series. (multiple awards for poetry and short stories.)

Film making –> I didn’t put this down, but it combines my love of acting and writing. I’d want at least one of my works in the film festivals.

Oh! I also want to do 300 CS hours per year (making 1,000 by end of HS).

My interests >.<

Do the ones you will enjoy the most! I will be having a busy summer as well, but I will be doing things I lovvvee :)

I have found a great love for MATH TEAMMMM :]

I would say put off the writing. I love writing; however, I only write during leisure time…because I do not have time for it during the summer.

My plan is to do Quiz Bowl, MUN and possibly one more club…

I have 2 hours of voice lessons every Friday ^_^

^I HAVE to participate in the quiz bowl/scale team at my school. It is a requirement :b Only 9-10 graders can participate in it…being a freshman on the math team, I am obligued to.

I love them all though!!!

I don’t wanna quit anything… but I know if I don’t quit something, everything will be average…!

My mom won’t let me take voice lessons D: I bought one of those expensive microphones and will record in that, put it on youtube, get criticized, practice, and repeat.

1000 service hours :O? How are you going to find the time? Lol, there’s little point doing community service hours just for the sake of fulfilling those hours. Idk… how about teach someone Japanese or write for a non-profit organization? that way you satisfy both interests in the same time period.

If you do not want to quit them, then do not! lol simple as that. deal with your busy summer. I find keeping busy appeasing though :b

Ahh nice…my mom is friends with a good voice coach in our area soo…freeee :)

^^ If you think about it, that’s only 6 hours a week. My mom and I are going to volunteer at a Holocaust museum every Sunday from 10:45 to 4:45. Also, I want to help out at a Advocacy Center, a place for abused kids once I turn 16.

^ Free? No fair :P

I do love busy summers… must think. Thanks youwish!

you are very welcome, rayna! :)

Its hard to believe that my teachers are still giving work. 3 projects, really!!!

sorry!!! D: My bad.

I must go. Can’t mess up now, gotta study for my last final.

To get to level 8 of piano and guitar by the end of high school, I need to practice about 5,000 hours total. That’s about 16 hours a week per instrument, or 2 hours each weekday and 3 hours each weekend day for each instrument. It shouldn’t be that hard in the summer, but I’m worried about the school year… Although I wouldn’t mind if I only got to 6.

I think I dropped writing and dance. My acting teacher is in my area half the time, and in LA helping her students there the other half. So that shouldn’t interfere too much.

We’ll see how it goes! :D

What Ho !

I decided to get off the computer when it ran out of battery power. I have about three minutes…
