<p>And Millancad, I have no idea what they’re officially called in English. I usually call them ‘pancakes’, even though they’re really not. In Chinese they’re 餅 (bing), which can also mean ‘cookie’. Or in Japanese, the same character means rice cake. Ah, Asian ambiguity. Gotta love it.</p>
