Yes, I’m talking about Inception; saw it opening night on IMAX. As I got home Facebook pretty much erupted into Inception-loving chaos, myself included. It’s a very commercial movie that’s meant to be a moneymaker, yes, but at the same time it’s still a phenomenal film that really engages the viewer’s mind.</p>
<p>Nice. I hope to see it tonight; it is really intriguing. Even the negative reviews that I have read made me want to go to see it, because for some reason I got the sense from those reviews’ tone that those reviewers liked it deep down but felt guilty saying so. :)</p>

<p>Started writing my common app essay. Clever, witty first paragraph, but couldn’t continue on from there. Turned in to a Pokemon essay, which is probably too cliche.</p>

<p>How does everyone manage to come up with clever beginnings? I’m almost done with the 2nd draft of my Common App essay; everything seems fine except the start. :(</p>

<p>And fledgling you’re lucky you have actual content. I come to realize that I really know nothing about myself. Nor do I have any life-changing experiences. Agh, this is going to be difficult.</p>

Like, it isn’t bad, but I just wish it started out in a more interesting way…</p>
<p>One more question: if my topic is of the more thoughtful/reflective variety, would it still be necessary to have an attention-grabbing intro? :/</p>
