the koreans at my school are actually better-looking than the chinese. always.

I think I can leave robotics now and not have second thoughts about it.

I swear, every time I come onto this thread there is a discussion going about asian women…

Yay for Koreans! Hehehehe

No problem with Chinese or Japanese people though…

I’ve read the previous post about double-eye lid thing;
I’ve been to all three countries and I think the number of Koreans and Japanese people with those things are pretty even…despite the surgery and all

By the way, I found Japanese,Chinse,Thai people often visiting Korea to get plastic surgery and travel quite interesting. Maybe it’s the celebs’ looks that appeal to those people.

I’m an Asian and have a double eyelid.

Maybe because I’m Southeast Asian?

^^^ lol I know. It’s rampant

My mom is northeastern Asian but she has double eyelid, brown curly hair, and high nose which is so typical of White people but she is purely Mongolian. so your reason’s not valid.

I personally think judging physical features of Asian people by the evaluations standards of Caucasian is like trying to know how many acres a mile has. Gee, why people want those surgery things?

Awkward Segue: Hmmm, so, to shift from judging Asian women to adaptations of works Asian authors, my FB status was “Norwegian Wood <3” after the Haruki Murakami book because I found out that it’s going to be a movie with Rinko Kikuchi (whom I and Joe Morgenstern both think should have won the Oscar for Babel) and everything and I was super excited. My oldest sister, who knows I’m an innocent prudique, was all “do you know what this means?” and assuming by wood I meant, well, something else. My cousin was also very concerned. It actually took me a while to get what they were on about, like, I looked up “norwegian wood” on urban dictionary and got nothing back other than the Beatles song.

It was actually a big Murakami day, since I ordered his first two books (while like never get published in English, omo!) and found Tony Takitani, which is an adaptation of one of his short stories and, as I hear it, very good.

Must every single page of this thread devolve into discussion about Asians?

It’s an Asian Invasion!

Black Attack!

Say it loud, I’m black and I’m proud!

If it ain’t white, it ain’t right.

^ That’s for me in terms of guys. lol.

Even if I’m in Surrey, I still like curry.

I’m not very good at this, am I? :(

I was never really fond of Asian girls despite being asian. They always wanted to talk about my GPA/test scores/classes/colleges or obscure asian culture things while trying to act all “cute”. They also tend to be very shy and awkward. -_- So annoying at times. Although it depends on the person.

Most asian girls aren’t like that fortunately. In fact, the coolest person I know is asian.

LOL that thing about koreans vs. chinese is pretty true in my experience. It makes it pretty clear who’s korean or chinese in terms of young people. In older people, it becomes less obvious.

Strangely enough, when there’s a discussion about Asian people, I don’t know how to respond even though I’m Asian.

I didn’t even click on it, but eww.

^^What the ****? LMAO.

Wow lol…

Moderators are gonna catch you now, son.
