blech, i miss school, when i have a schedule and friends. waking up late all the time and doing nothing sucks.

I skipped math team a couple of days ago. I was at marching band camp and…the only way I could make it to math team was if I ate luch during math…meh. I had my lunch with my band friends :]

rebel.

you have math team in the summer?

I have math team every Wednesday, year round except for Christmas/Winter break.

^Do you ever spontaneously not show up?

^^^^^^You sometimes find really good deals though. I somehow got from here to Edinburgh and from London back here for $800 (which was all my money then, but whatevs). And I bought the tickets only about two weeks before I went. On the other hand, going to Boston from here cost the same amount when I bought the tickets like a week or 4 days before.

cross-country road trips cost more than plane trips [gas, food, and lodging add up].

^But road trips are more fun:P!

What’s an easy way to remove rust from metal that’s actually practical for me to do at home?

Food can’t be included in the cost of a road trip. You’re going to eat no matter what form of travel you take. So taking food and gas into account, for a family of five LA to NY and back:

Plane tickets
[ul][]$400 round trip per ticket
[]$2000 total[/ul]

Road Trip
[ul][]5,600 miles round trip: 30 mpg, $3 pg = $560
[]100 hours round trip - 12 hours a day, 8 days on the road, 3 days in hotels each direction, 6 total days, $100 per night = $600
[*]$1200 total[/ul]

^But the average family isn’t of five.

^^you will eat more food on a cross-country road trip than a plane trip, as a cross-country road trip takes multiple days. In any case, if you are under 18 and visiting a college, wouldn’t you only be going with one parent or guardian? in that case, 3 of those plane tickets are unnecessary and a plane trip is the more cost-effective option [if you also include the fact that you will spend less on food overall if you take a 3-day trip versus a 5 or 6-day one].

Glad all my friends are at the town fair. Guess I should have gone… always a confidence booster

i don’t hate you because you’re fat, you’re fat because i hate you

<3 mean girls

Speaking of eating food, I just finished an entire container of pringles in one afternoon while waiting for my dad in the car :o.

^ Were they flavored? I really dislike unflavored chips unless they are in onion dip. Unfortunately, I haven’t found any onion dips or flavored chips (except Sun Chips) that I can eat.

I once ate a whole family sized bag of sour cream and onion ruffles. I threw up.

Now I CAN’T STAND the smell and anything sour cream and onion.

Shame, sour cream and onion was my favorite.

^^Nope, they were the “original” ones I picked up at the grocery store. Pringles are awesome. I personally like them better than Sun Chips (which I only had once in a while in the school cafeteria).

^ Yeah, I don’t like Sun Chips very much, but they are the only flavored chips that I’ve seen that don’t have MSG.

And now you sound like mifune with his talks about mecury and tuna fish. I think I worry more about the 38q94y320954739857 grams of trans fat in that container of Pringles that I just ate than the MSG.

One thing I’ll never miss about the UK… Prawn Cocktail Crisps (in US terms: shrimp cocktail flavored chips)
