Yes, I remember that thread. :)

My concern is not really the same, though. MSG causes signifcant and nearly immediate problems for me.

Yes, I remember that thread. :)

My concern is not really the same, though. MSG causes signifcant and nearly immediate problems for me.

That’s unfortunate:/. I can just imagine how much of life you’re missing: chips, decade-old canned chicken noodle soup, grocery store ham in plastic packages…

MSG = More Smelly Gas
(at least that is my experience)

Isn’t it four? That brings it to $1600. It also doesn’t really cost anything like $100 to stay in a hotel in the middle of nowhere.

So? When you go on a plane do you not eat during the time in which you would have been travelling if you’d taken a road trip?

Not necessarily. When I visited Caltech, there was a whole family from South America on the tour. Most tours I’ve seen around campus include full sets of parents.

Hmm, I’ve never tried any of the more exotic flavors. My family usually sticks to salt and vinegar and cheese and onion.

Shrimp flavored chips? Ewww. Lol. When I was in France, I bought some roasted chicken and thyme flavored chips. They were legit. They actually smelled and tasted like chicken!

I love capoeira.

The shrimp cocktail flavored chips sound yum!

To the Asians: You guys have had this, right?

I can’t wait for the day I get closer to being a professor.

I just got back from D.C.

It’s weird. I was called “beautiful lady”, “sexy” and “so pretty” by multiple strangers yet I don’t find myself very attractive…

This happens to me all the time.

If you don’t think you’re attractive, then I say trust your instincts. Generally, I find that we’re decent judges of how physically attractive we are - I know I am not, no matter what random strangers may say.

^^^^ I love everything made by Calbee. End of story.

I never got what the big deal was about prawn cocktail crisps (it sounds wrong if you say “chips” in this context). We used to have them before my school decided to go all health-conscious. I had them once and decided never to have them again.

Actually, I hate all Walkers crisps. Salt and vinegar is just tolerable, but cheese and onion is NASTY.

@LaTina: I used to love them when I was little:P! I haven’t had those in a very long time though.

^^^You’re right but idk sometimes I think I’m pretty, sometimes not, as most people.

I got the cutest bikini today :D

Apparently, I have a LDL cholesterol level of 186. That’s over 86 fuucking points above what is safe.

How could this have happened?! Life, fuuck you.

Sometimes I wish I had a better personality :/

^You don’t seem to have a stank personality online; I think you’re fine.

^LOL. true dat…

nah it’s just that I wish I could be more ‘bubbly’ b/c I feel like around ppl that don’t know me too well I come off as stuck-up and I feel bored by their presence.

I also wish I could be hilarious. I can be funny but not that funny.

But I suppose I’m content with my personality overall…

Same here. But sometimes, I actually am. :p

If I am ever bubbly, it is forced. Just do you, eastafrobeauty.

I can be funny, depending on the crowd. If it’s in the midst of an overly serious bunch, then my humor doesn’t work. If it’s with people who have a decent grasp of double entendres, then I’m good. :)

I second everything you say. I’m always very cheerful but I feel like it doesn’t show.

Around a certain group of friends I’m funny (usually around my somali/black/middle eastern friends) because I can make jokes about stuff that I know they wouldn’t get offended by. Around everyone else I have to tone it down a little bit because I’m not so sure about how they’d react.

If I could wish for one trait that I lack it would be confidence. I usually don’t give a **** about what people say about me but I feel like I need to improve it by a lot. I have high self esteem but I’m not so sure about confidence b/c it’s that which can take you places…if you have high confidence.

Well, broaden the types of humor you use. It comes with diligent practice. :)

Yes, insecurity can be a hindrance. However, I would counsel you not to overthink this.

Remember, for some things, you cannot “do,” you can only “be.”
