Yes, it is! I submitted a persuasive/argumentative essay. I got in.

Thank you

Will Princeton accept Graded Written Papers after the deadline? If they won’t, then I don’t want to risk anything. Worst case scenario I can submit a paper that is not the best of my writing, or just not apply.

Never mind, now I know, I’ve communicated. No need to answer my question!

Does Princeton look at the common app essay? Not sure because they have so many other supplementals.

did they allow you to submit the paper on the portal after the deadline?

Not sure, but I wouldn’t count on them reviewing it. This message is displayed on the Common App when asked to submit a graded paper:

“Princeton requires you to submit a graded written paper as part of your application. You may submit this material now or any time before the application deadline. If you choose not to upload the required paper at this time, you may mail, e-mail, or upload your paper through the applicant portal. Detailed instructions for our graded paper requirement can be found here.”

Thanks, saw that too. Given that it won’t be possible to get portal access before deadline, do you know which email address we can send the written paper? Couldn’t find it on their website.

I think you send it to their admissions email since they did not provide one on the site. I would include your name and application number (if you have it) in the body of the email and write the subject something like “Additional Application Materials- [Your name]”.

uaoffice@princeton.edu is the email to use. Hope this helps!
