Another season started tonight. All of the designers are previous winners of PR or PR All Stars both US and international versions.
Who are the hosts??? And judges???
I think that Heidi and Tim are off the train, so I think so am I!!!
This is All Stars so no Tim or Heidi. Alyssa Milano is back as host with Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman as judges. Oh, and Ann Fulenweider, Marie Clair EIC, is mentor.
Wonder if this is the last season of All Stars.
I’m in. I’ve missed the show. I still think a season with all first contestant knocked off would be a fun watch.
Oh yeah, I forgot that Tim and Heidi don’t do all stars. I don’t know if I have room to add this to my line up…sort of a shame, PR was always part of my watching line up!
It’s certainly the final season on Lifetime. If it comes back, and no formal announcement has been made by Bravo on its future, it will do so without Alyssa Milano, who will be focusing on her Netflix series.

Interesting outcome for the first challenge. I agree with Isaac that Irina’s design looked a bit like a Halloween Costume.
Thanks for the heads up. I was able to catch the first show On Demand. I loved Dmitri’s dress. If I’m remembering his season correctly, he was always very tasteful.
It was recorded automatically for me, so I watched it. It was okay, but I didn’t like or dislike much except Anthony Ryan. That was something I could have made in home ec.
Watching!
I like the addition of the international winners. I think they are going to put some pressure on the US designers.
I was kind of surprised by the one eliminated…and by the winner, too. Not shocked, but I would have chosen differently. Won’t spoil it yet.
“Quinceañera meets prostitute” :))
I did agree with the judges this week.
The show plays so much better when it’s a 90 minute format vs 60 - 60 just runs tooooooo fast. There isn’t enough time (for me) to really take a look at designs and more.
I have to say I think the elimination should have gone the other way, but I 100% agree with WHY it went the way it did.
The judges made the correct call. The whole point of the challenge was to make two clashing colors work together. He just ignored the rules and made a yellow dress. The dress itself was fine, but if you ignore the rules, you deserve to go home.
Isaac Mizrahi on Sean Kelly’s dress: “It’s a great dress, but it’s a mother’s dress. She’s gonna look like someone’s mother in it … a chic, fabulous mother.” OK, I get that it does not read graduation, but my chic, fabulous mother does not wear high slit exposed navel maxi dresses.Clearly Isaac and I have different definitions of “matronly.”
Well, the show has more shameless product placements than the Transformer franchise. If the time spent with JCPenney Accessory Wall, the butter LONDON™ makeup and nail studio, and the Umberto ® Beverly Hills hair salon were further condensed, we might see more of the creative process. I suppose I should be grateful that we have not seen the designers relaxing at the Atlas Apartments or grabbing a snack from the Samsung refrigerator.
And yeah, the right designer went home.
Agree he deserved to be eliminated for not following the rules, but his design was way better than the hooker Barbie.
I agree but he showed an issue with authority. Putting that pin on the back was just insulting. Slutty Barbie will probably show a future lack of taste.
Irina’s design was horrible in every respect. Not sure why the judges only faulted her fabric choice.
All Sunny had to do was add a blue sash. What was he thinking.
i wonder if they just didn’t like his attitude? What if he had said "oh, i just didn’t understand, i wish i had followed directions better, please give me a chance, or something like ‘at our school we always dropped one color’ " – and was humble about it? His design was cute - and slutty barbie was not! but bookworm is right above; he showed an issue with authority; i would have tried to talk my way out of it and he didn’t even try.
i will say, the designs are all pretty good. It’s a talented group!
