<p>Have to say Nina looked silly in the gold glitter top. It was stiff and Jeston looking. The tiered hemline was weird. I think it won because it photographed – not because it looked good in person. And that is a valid criterion, of course.</p>
<p>So what did you think of last night’s episode? Lots of drama in the first fifteen minutes. The whole sequence with Oliver and Tim suddenly being surprised by paramedics (did he really not know they were coming?) was bizarre. The gasp that Michael Kors gave when the model with the gym shorts turned around was great. Those kinds of moments from the judges are one reason I watch the show. Burt is insufferable.</p>
<p>Last night’s show proves that “boring” is worse than “bad” with the judges. Anthony’s look was baaaaad, even though I like him a lot, but Danielle’s was borrring! Can she not buy any fabric other than green???</p>
<p>After last nights show, I came to the realization that this is the weakest group of contestants in the history of the show. Plenty of tackiness and no imagination.</p>
<p>^^I agree, and boring challenges don’t help. Who cares about clothes for stiltwalkers, or even for Nina or Heidi? What’s next week’s challenge going to be–clothes for Michael Kors?</p>
<p>I do agree that the challenges have been sort of lackluster. Make clothes for Nina! Make clothes for a stilt walker! Make clohtes for Heidi’s line! I am hoping that they amp it up a bit in the next couple of weeks. There is a lot of promotion that seems to go now so hopefully a creative challenge will happen too.</p>
<p>Can we please get rid of these group challenges? I know collaboration is important and building a collection is like the thing in the fashion industry but I would love to see individual inspiration.</p>
<p>If you aren’t reading Tom and Lorenzo you are really missing out on part of your Project Runway Experience.</p>

<p>^Tom and Lorenzo definitely dissected everything that was wrong with this week’s episode. The person who was brought back managed to skip two challenges. Last season may have had plenty of drama, but at least the drama was interesting. This season’s cast just annoys me.</p>
<p>What still annoys me is that Josh got a win for the outfit to which he contributed the least. The fact that the judges changed their opinions on his group so quickly between critique and deliberation.
During critique: “Some of this looks nice, but it looks like you all had some issues.”
During deliberation: “Their collection was amazing. Josh’s assertiveness really paid off.”</p>
<p>Last night’s show: Cute artistic kids, obnoxious boring adults.</p>
<p>And I never thought I’d say this, but I missed having Nina Garcia there.</p>
<p>I don’t know - is “Project Runway” TRYING to drive me away?</p>
<p>Bert’s pants were hysterical. I just couldn’t get enough of them. And the judges were hysterical talking about them. I think the pants were even funnier than the “hair boobs” dress from a couple of cycles ago.</p>
<p>I don’t yet have a favorite. There are certainly people I dislike but no favorites yet.</p>
<p>I know Bert is obnoxioous and insulting, and all of the other designers seem to loathe him, BUT - at least he was trying to be avant-garde (trying, but missed the mark.) I think that the show is trying to make us “like” Josh, but I’m not buying it. I was no big fan of his painted skirt last night, even if he did win. </p>
<p>But you’re right, missy; those Bert pants were hilarious! In a way, they reminded me of Gretchen’s granny panties from last year.</p>

<p>The kids were (mostly) great. I thought their reactions on the runway were really cute. </p>
<p>The designer who is growing on me, although I wasn’t wild about her dress last night, is Laura Kathleen. Her Southern accent has been fading and her obnoxious “are you talking foreign?” comment now almost seems like it was an act. Like she was trying to be a dumb, country bumpkin. </p>
<p>I can see Becky making it to the final three (or four), simply because every episode has had other designers saying how dumpy her designs are. I think she just might have the last laugh.</p>
<p>Did you see the preview for next week: two teams of FIVE designers each?! I predict bloodshed! :)</p>

<p>Agree. Something really unsavory about Josh. Sorry his mom died of ovarian cancer . . . but the skirt was hideous, imo. It looked like one of the talking, walking trees in LOTR. Yuck!</p>
<p>I can’t stand Josh. He’s so full of himself, and he was unbelievably mean to Becky in the last episode. And I thought what he made was hideous; I’m amazed the judges liked it. Some of the comments about it on Tom and Lorenzo were hilarious.</p>
<p>I always enjoy watching, but there’s nobody so far this season whose talent makes me say “wow.” I do think Kimberley is good.</p>
<p>Fashion week is beginning. Who wants to guess which collections are decoys?</p>
