Hey, mim, I’M STILL pulling for Bert, but now I’m a big Viktor fan too.

I’m glad that Olivier is gone - his attitude about real-sized people was so annoying, and I got tired of seeing his sad-looking clothes. (Really, his color palette ranged from gray to tan!) And I was glad to see that Anya’s lack-of-sewing skills finally catch up with her. I like her and I like her clothes, but sometimes it seems like she gets more of a “pass” than she deserves.

This season has been so annoying that “Person of Interest” is now my Thursday night show. Maybe I’ll catch up with On Demand, but then again . . . maybe not.

Now if they actually started focusing on the clothes. . .

My my my, those plaid pants were so horrible they were just delicous…I could have watched them from the front and back for so long! I know that it was partly due to the strobing affect (effect?) on TV…they made the model look like she had this deformed, undulating bottom. “Do these pants make me look fat?” “Well, not fat exactly…more like you need corrective surgery.”

LOL, Missypie, what a great post! It was even more delicious the way Josh defended them. I was underwhelmed with Burt’s work and didn’t think there was anything that new about the simple dress that everyone raved about. I thought Lauren’s outfit was really pretty awful. It almost triggered a PTSD reaction to what I remember of 70s fashion. I was thrilled for Anya and felt she deserved it given that she came back from such a major setback. I didn’t care for the fact that Victor refused to help her at all. I would love to see Anya win, because it would be nice to have the designer with the most pleasant personality win for once.

Viktor should have won. And not only were Josh’s outfits awful, but he behaved like a ridiculous prima donna again, whining about how he couldn’t possibly be expected to know anything about 1970’s fashion. So long ago that dinosaurs roamed the earth, apparently.

I think Anya won due to the ‘make it work’ of her garments. Viktor and she will definitely be going to Fashion Week (imho).

And yes…Josh needs to go…now. He is so full of himself that every single time his face shows up on the screen I cringe. He needs his mommy to tell him to get a grip on his ego (yes, I know she’s not alive…but she could come tap him on the shoulder).

While younger D was getting a haircut, I looked through an* In Style *magazine. They had a whole spread on what must be an exhibition of Elizabeth Taylor’s clothes, another recreating the look of an actress from the 70s. I didn’t make it all the way through the magazine, but if a person even paged through a magazine like that once a month, he would have an idea of clothes which reference a different era.

I liked the outfits that went home. Go figure; I"m a 60’s girl and the autumn colors seemed correct to me. Josh and Barbie’s stuff did not work for me and I am left again puzzled. Loved Bert’s simple but elegant and wearable dress. Loved Anyas best, too.

BTW the what’s his name suit had to go back. It had a loonnnngggg peplum tail (like a mullet hair cut) and was stretchy not so nice fabric and horrible cheap zippers for focal detail. Yuckers. Very disappointed.

I’m always late on this thread due to DVRing!!! :)

Was a little sad to see Anthony Ryan go - just had a soft spot for the guy - as apparently did Heidi and Tim - he just about lost it saying goodbye to Anthony!!!

I also think Victor is a shoe in for top 3. Who else???

DD and I liked Anthony Ryan but not on the episode where he teamed with Bert and was so awful to him. I would have sent home Barbie, I think, not Anthony Ryan. Josh is really unpleasant but every now and then puts out something really interesting.

Not surprised Bert’s dress sold out already. I’m rooting for him. He’s old and I’m starting to feel old, too. Also think Victor and Anya are terrific.

Anthony Ryan jumped out of the gate quickly with wonderful outfits, however his garments over the past few weeks have been blah. It’s almost like he ran out of energy. He has looked very haggard and sounded tired recently.
