My gut says the swimmer Q is no error and I went with my gut. Chances are I’m wrong, although I think it sounds correct with just “stand”.

i agree with @andrew

my friends and I all put will stand… so…

haha but that doesnt necessarily mean it’s right

Yea i know
I just hope that it’s right lol

Another math mistake I made was with the square circle grid in u was the y coordinate, so the answer was 5 instead of 14.7

anybody remember any math questions?

I feel like I did worse on the math portion than I did last year…
Omitted 3(1multi+2grid in) so far got 1 wrong.

The grid-ins were biotch. normally I’m pretty solid at math and breezed through the practice booklet they gave out with only 1 wrong but the actual PSAT I probably got 3, maybe 4 wrong on just math.

i dont think it can be interconnectedness because it said all three moved with the same “rhythm” and that implies harmony

same here @andrew.
I have always been solid at math… No luck today though.

I chose interconnectedness. It was harmony but not necessarily social harmony…

i think its interconnectedness because social harmony doesnt make sense… why wud it be social?

definitely social harmony no?
if you think about chords
they are in harmony
they are not “interconnected”
i think social harmony made the most sense because the first exmaple he gave was something about balance
and i put interconectedness at first so i get where everyone’s coming from
but i think, not saying its right, that it is harmony

and also i thought the math was very challenging for this test…

what was the question exactly again?

@Chewy, kboy, and siemprell – I went interconnetedness as well. In my mind identified social harmony as a classic trap. People think chord → music → harmony → melody, which although is a connection people will naturally make and is valid it is not the point of the parallel.

Being interconnected = state of being connected recipricollay, and by walking or w/e the author felt she was connected to nature and nature was connected to her.

Also the word “social” is a deal breaker. Maybe nature harmony or something funky like that, but term “SOCIAL HARMONY” suggests, to me, that interaction of human dynamics among members of a social group or groups INSTEAD of interaction with nature. It wasn’t about being social it was about nature

@siemprell it was asking about the metaphor the pro-walking author wrote about how when she walks her body is in motion with nature like a “chord hitting 3 notes blending together” or something like that.

I agree with interconnectedness.

Also do we have a consensus on the measures question?

Social - pertaining to society - ie. fellowship, companionship : company : an association : a community: the body of mankind, the fashionable world generally : a corporate body : any organised association.
Thus social harmony would mean being in the same tune with others in any group or society.
