**PSAT Discussion Thread 2015**

Does anyone know what the lowest composite score is that is listed as 99%? I think I saw someone post 1450 as 99%.

@thegfg Have you tried logging out and back in again? That is what my dd did and it worked. If that doesn’t work, I have no other suggestions.

Guys…if your index is higher than the avg of your state’s last year, then you qualified…like, for sure. Idk why that’s a big mystery, don’t stress out. It’s the ppl who scored well below their state’s cut-off from last year who should be worried.

Does anyone else only see their scores from last year?

Still no scores, CB says I can see my scores but it only shows last years,

@suzyQ7 My daughter missed 4R, 1W, and 2M, but has the same subscores as your son, so you’re not as close to the boundaries as you could be. It will be the case that for some students getting an additional 3 questions right would have no effect, while for others it could improve the NMI by 5. I’ll be curious to see the raw scores to index mappings. It seems the grouping for a similar index is larger than I would have expected, even considering there are more problems.

Will a 1480 qualify me for semifinalist in Texas?

@hopeforthebest82 where does it say you can view them?
Did you have to use an access code?

can someone tell me where to see the SI score on the CB website? I only see my normal score with the breakdowns.

@JuicyMango I honestly couldn’t agree more. Obviously people that are posting on CC are going to care more about their scores than 99% of the national population. Just because 10 people have reported scores in the 99th percentile in Florida doesn’t mean that the index cutoff must be way higher than last year.

Yes, I logged in and out obsessively. I guess they’re just not posted yet?

Can someone answer this for me? If child took practice test based on 1520 range, you would be looking at the lower cutoff scores?

On the website it says view psat10 score I click on link then last years results show up,then I try to add scores but my id isn’t working and I have no code

No.

I got a 1370, thought I would do better. Selection index is 211. How do I look for National Merit Semi-Finals? I’m in New York

@buffalo11

You would think that with the amount of time College Board took to get these scores to us, they could have at least worked out National Merit cutoffs early…

For those of you trying to sign in & access scores using Google Chrome, try Internet Explorer instead. Chrome got me nowhere, but IE worked for me.

@hopeforthebest82 I have the same issue
