It it required to be in the 99th percentile to get national merit, I’m from Nebraska and have a 202… Sorry posting again because of the thread moving fast
out of 228 dawg. cmon man 226/228 and you getting confused by this? haha you killed it man congrats
@spaghettimonster The highest possible SI score is a 228. You did great! I think it’s safe to say, even coming from CA, that you have qualified for NM.
@spaghettimonster I read on another forum that the asterisk means you will not be eligible for National Merit because you’re not a junior. Don’t know if that’s true or not, but I hope that helps.
Please tell me why there are two percentiles. I scored 99% in both but would still like to know
No score, no codes. In FL. My son says some of his friends have scores. He does not.
I really don’t understand the scores this year. How can a total score of 1400, which they say is in the 99th percentile, be the equivalent of a 206 in previous years, according to the concordance tables? That would mean an average of about 68-69 on each of the three sections, which surely was not the 99th percentile in previous years. I don’t get it…
Can someone please tell me how they accessed their scores!!
@icantsleep To be honest I felt a lot more unsure after finding out two of my friends got perfect 228’s and multiple more had 220+'s but I would still say that 214 is a decently solid score (and it’s definitely in the range of what COULD be the new cutoff). 210-216/8 for me seems to be a pretty uncertain range for Illinois cutoffs since no one really knows how they’ll be calculated this year especially. I guess we just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope the cutoff goes down from 215; all that’s left is to anticipate September and hope for the best!
HOW DID YOU GUYS ACCESS THESE!!!
My friend can’t access her current scores, going to quickstart still leads to last year’s scores. Anyone else know how to fix the glitch?
- Central New Jersey (not everyone, as we have a report someone from this area did get scores)

@nerdmonster101 are you checking on your phone or a computer?
Why are there two percentiles
@nerdmonster101 Is there just a button that says sign out? You might have to sign out and sign in again. That happened to me.
my friend is checking on a computer, she’s in the same situation @icantsleep
