So if my son did not hear, then he was not offered Spring Start; he will either be accepted or denied Fall '24 admission. Correct?
Yes. That is our understanding based on what we learned through email correspondence with the College of Ag Office. We are in the same boat.

My son also has an email saying to check his portal, but that only says complete. Any ideas on the odds of his FYE deferral switching to accepted?
The Coll of Ag Office said the application would be reviewed only once and a decision made on Fall vs Spring Start admissions. We were hoping that a decision whichever way (admitted for Spring, admitted for Fall, denied) would come this week itself. However, the portal update hasn’t happened for us today.

My son was just accepted. OOS. Data Analytics. I really like Purdue and hope he goes there. Great academics and I really liked the campus when we visited.

My daughter was accepted FYE. It looks like Purdue releases decisions on deferrals every Friday since last week. Her friend got admitted last Friday.
She got an email during lunch saying decision made but found nothing in the portal. Then at 5pm we found out.

Oh the torture. My son is at school/baseball practice, and we don’t have access to his stuff. If Purdue is only releasing in batches, and we don’t have a decision today, I don’t want to ask him and open a pandora’s box of emotions over the weekend waiting until next Friday or even longer.
Just seems like there was only a few mentions of decision changes in previous weeks, but quite a few today posted here and elsewhere.

Are there any scholarship opportunities for RD? From what I am reading he would have needed to apply ED? I apologize for my ignorance on this and appreciate any inside scoop.

That’s what I understand, but I have also heard that they don’t give out much merit for the more sought after programs, and they have affordable tuition as well.
