Some of the games are played at Miami University so they and their opponents kind of meet halfway-ish. There’s also a Purdue figure skating club that goes to suburban Indy for ice time.
There’s a competitive waterskiing team, club swimming, club basketball, cricket—all sorts of sports.

Yes! They extended the deadline for applying to LLCs.
"Incoming students to Purdue for Fall 2024, can apply to a learning community starting mid January through early July, 2024. May 5th is the priority application deadline to be placed in a learning community. Applications submitted or modified after May 5th will be considered based on availability following the initial placement period.
Students who apply for a Learning Community by the May 5th priority deadline will be notified of their placement status through their Purdue email account by the end of the second full week in May.
A housing contract with University Residences must be completed prior to applying for a learning community. After accepting your offer of admission, allow up to two business days to gain access to the housing contract portal." Learning Communities - Learning Communities.

If no merit award in your decision letter you will be able to search Scholarship Universe from your Purdue student account for things to apply for.

OOS son deferred EA, just got his Purdue acceptance today into the Commercial Flight program. He is thrilled!!!

Can anyone share how difficult it is to change college of liberal arts to Business school in Purdue
My son did write to the College of Agriculture regarding the Spring Start decision and their response was that that decision was delayed and that he would receive his decision be it Fall or Spring (accepted or denied) by March 31, 2024. So, we wait…
That’s interesting! We got a response back from them (Coll of Ag) on Friday that Spring Start admissions were released. The waiting is tiring… we are mentally moving on with S24’s other admittances. “Love the colleges that love you back,” as many pundits on this forum have advised

Hmmm. It may just be that they received answers from different people. My son’s email response was actually today (which is strange, because it is Sunday). My kiddo still has decisions out on three schools. There is such a large span of time between schools that it makes it hard to make a decision. We know Purdue already because we have one Boilermaker (we are OOS California); we love it there. Everything about the school has been wonderful. My S24 is still hopeful.

Purdue has been his top pick ever since we visited the campus for his elder brother S23. It’s a reach for him, but he would accept in a heart beat! He, however, has acceptances from other colleges with strong Engg programs. Right now, we have told him to start researching them and also engage with them. If Purdue comes, it’s great; if it doesn’t, no big deal.

We are in the same boat. DS got in for 2nd choice major whereas other colleges into COE.
Does anyone know when the decision for the College of Business will be released?
My OOS EA daughter was deferred for the business school and received her Purdue admission at 5 pm on 3/1. She’s super excited!
