My DDās portal does not have the thin bar. Sheās an OOS high stat student. And I completely realize that not all high stat kids are offered admission, but just adding that detail.
So looks like the fountain picture with people walking will be switched to the black one and application status: complete once decision is updated?
Are they updating in state first? My D is OOS.

The person who posted that picture has mentioned that they donāt have the thin bar back yet. Itās likely an older screenshot when the picture was still not changed.
Picture flipped much before the thin bar disappeared, so may be unrelated, but those who have it back can confirm.

No thin bar here either. My son is high stats OOS but heās applying CS so chances of a defferal or rejection are pretty good.
Sorry. The darker photo with the thin bar is older (Friday). The lighter one without the bar is from today. We are OOS and student is also high stat.

My D is applying to CS as well, and her stats is good too.
D is CS too, high stats, OOS, no thin bar

Does anyone know if purdue selects students competing with their classmates or just the population at large? (Same major ofc)
