Do you have change major under change request?
When we were awaiting my sonâs application decision 2 years ago we were having fun here with the portal astrology and of course being totally ridiculous about it. I just wanna say, yâall are leveling UP this year

You and another OOS has this and both seem FYE. Maybe they are going by major

Yes, itâs the thin bar vs thick bar that is cracking me up so much!
Donât forget that an admission might be to a second choice major, or to a different campus. Purdue does that a lot. And that a deferral is NOT a rejection. In fact, there are students every year that get deferred and then admitted in RD to their first choice major.
Fingers crossed that everyone gets good news soon.

Yes, if I recall it was only some of the available options that seemed to be distinctive. I canât remember which ones â it was something like the change major option being there for admittances. The rest of the stuff didnât seem to correlate, but my memory is admittedly hazy.

I may be screwed cus I have never seen the thin bar on my portal 
i think this bar stuff is pretty ridiculous and the only real indicators are the change major button (indicates acceptance, see FAQ on portal) and LOCI form (indicates deferral). until these start appearing, do not stress about portal UI stuff at all.

Let me help with the speculation. The extra thin bar indicates you submitted an extra recommendation, so your application is more complete than others.

I am guessing if you see this new picture then your result has been uploaded, although the âdecidedâ and âview your decisionâ will not show up until the 15th. This is a screenshot of my D24âs account right now (she was accepted last year).

No one has reported change major option showing up as yet.

Yes, the change major option appeared in her portal around jan 6 and was gone on jan 10. The results were released on Jan 12. No forms appeared in her âreply formâ tab.
