is it possible that it all happened 2 days ago? I only checked the portal 2 days ago and the lighter image showed up

The lighter image showed up for me a while ago. I can’t remember exactly when but it was more than two days ago for me.

lighter image appeared on Jan 9th.
Thinner bar disappeared on Jan 11th - has not resurfaced yet
What time were decisions released last year? Do we know what time this year?
It was at 1 pm PST/ 4pm EST last year.
Added: 1pm PST also in 2023

My portal has the " Application Status: Complete" bar and im pretty sure it never went away. Is that a bad sign?

I’ve been checking for a few days, though only once a day. I only saw the lighter image show up, but my bar has been there every time I checked.
Just to be sure: there are two bars for Application Status. One above the gray box and one under it. The above one is what we’re talking about.
same here… been checking the last week at least 3 times daily. the lighter image showed up with both application complete status bars present all times

So, three categories:-
- Bar disappeared and reappeared
- Bar disappeared and not reappeared yet
- Bar never disappeared
Wild speculation that each of these categories likely correspond to either admit, defer, waitlist/reject. There’s absolutely no way to map them.

Something tells me Purdue IT has tightened the portal. Absolutely no signs so far, unlike last year.

Neither of them disappeared for me.

Last year it disappeared and came back for most people over a weeks span. Looking back it looks like the ones that lost their bat first and had it come back first were admitted.
