yes, mine has address and tools.
If there is not a clear correlation, I think the best option is not to over-think and just trust yourself.
They always tell you not to fall in love with a school, but thatâs very hard not to do with Purdue.
Our S25 is already accepted into two wonderful, top-ranked engineering programs. He would certainly flourish at those institutions. That said⊠he dreams of being an astronautical engineer. Heâs been so fortunate to catch a glimpse of this dream as a NASA intern these past two years. At Purdue, he would be amongst his people, both students and faculty. He could pursue research and make connections unlike few other places.
As a parent, there is nothing more amazing than seeing your childâs eyes light up when they can see and dream of their future. Again, we shouldnât fall in love with Purdue, but it would be a dream come true for him.
Just one thin bar? or both the black and gold thin bars?
Can they just release the results today? Guess they already have everything at this point.
Im not sure which bars you are referring to but the tan bar im talking about says applciation status: complete on my friends portal
This is my portal astrology conclusion, feel free to discuss:
It only makes sense for the bar to appear and say application complete if they made a final decision- accept or rejct. Deferred they havent made a final decision yet so bar does not appear
but like weâre all bound to get the bar no?
Why canât it (missing thin bar) mean good things? Sounds like day dreaming though.
either way all of this is speculation no one knows whatâs good or bad and itâs a thin bar not huge tell tale signs like last year
Yeah, thats what im thinking eventually, but right now its just speculation based on the patterns im seeing
I believe they are just playing with us at this point.
Wish IT had fixed this one too this year. Is there a timeline on when decisions are finalized? Last week and none these 2 days? I have heard some colleges do it even the last few days of decision release.
The thin bar is probably where the decision will be displayed on - so having it or not means just one thing, the decision is there. The javascript code on the page will keep issuing async call to the server to fetch the result, which will only become available at the release date/time. If the bar isnât there, the JS code will not try to call. For a school with 60k+ trying to access the result at the same moment, this is probably the cheapest and fastest way.
Most logical explanation so far. I think so. Thin bar being present could be any decision!
Does anyone have an image of what the bar looks like? Is it under the âStatusâ or âDashboardâ? Iâm OOS high stats FYE applicant. If no bar, that could mean deferred? Is that what youâre implying?
no hes saying that the bar can be any decision
Then what does no bar mean?
Everyone trying to figure out if it means something or not. Just something thatâs different for some people.
