Admitted OOS FYE with Presidential Scholarship. Line appeared late. 1450 SAT (top 1% of state), 4.0/4.3GPA, Lots of AP, sports, leadership, volunteer, work. I’m in shock! Good luck to all of you still waiting!

We are trying to sign up for the Engineering one. It’s showing it’s available but it’s giving her a message that she needs to register for the college she was accepted to but she was accepted to Engineering. Not sure how to bypass that

Fye OOS 1560 sat, ranked 2/740 4.7 W GPA 4.0 UW, with a job, over 300 volunteers, not likely to attend with no money offered, move on next one,
FYE from Ohio accepted right at 4p (Fall main campus). 4.3, 35 ACT/36 stem. Band and aerospace related leadership and focused extracurriculars. Did not apply to honors. “Only” 4 AP, 3 DE, rest mostly honors (and yes his HS offered all APs) so not everyone has 15 AP classes. Hope this helps others

Historically there has been no mechanism for that, nor a wait list. Maybe a current Purdue parent can chime in if that has changed.
If you weren’t admitted to your first choice, the process would be to try to CODO (change of degree objective) but that happens after the first semester. It’s VERY difficult to CODO to an impacted major.

3.84 UW ACT 35.
Took a chance going against the purdue regional counselor’s advise who said if you apply first choice CS and second choice FYE, it will be first choice admit or rejection from both.

They will tell you you were fully considered for your first choice and not accepted for it.

Kinda sad I didntput engineering as first choice. Anyoneknow if I can switch into engineering from CS? On website says need speceific grades but looks like its still hard

Admitted OOS for pre-vet with honors college, 3.7/4.1, 1510, 11 APs (6 exams so far, all 5s and 4s), internships related to major, lots of volunteer hours.

Yes my kid accepted OOS to Daniels with 10k/year. In the letter with acceptance. Very surprised by this bc my understanding was Purdue didnt give much merit bc of tuition lock

Admitted to West Lafayette for Political Science! Accepted to Honors and received merit aid! Purdue is my back up, but I’m so happy about having this now as a great and affordable second option!!

CS is the harder admit so congrats. However, usually you can’t change majors until after first semester and it’s very difficult to change to an impacted major.
OOS accepted honor college in FYE. 4 UW/4.6 W. 1570 SAT. 12 APs with 5 on all completed ones. Decent but not awesome ECs and essay, with research paper in the related intent major.
