OOS accepted honor college in FYE. 4 UW/4.6 W. 1570 SAT. 12 APs with 5 on all 8 completed ones. Decent but not awesome ECs and essay, with research paper in the related intent major.

Those programs are 2 different colleges so their advice might have been more geared toward dissuading you from 2 highly competitive programs with lower admit rates. Purdue’s a basketball school so baller rules apply: shooters gotta shoot. Congrats. You took your shot and made it. Boiler Up.

Yes. They said students not competitive for CS are usually not competitive for FYE as well. But my son did not like any other majors and wanted to apply FYE- computer engineering as second choice.
However, it is still possible right? Do you know how many each year?

No, honors decisions are not rolling.
Purdue students are able to apply to honors college later on so there is still an opportunity to graduate with honors.

The difficulty is that there are CS required courses that non majors can’t register for. An alternative would be to look at CS-related programs on the Polytechnic side.

Having the same issue. Shows College of Pharmacy but then says you have to pick a college when we hit submit. Did you get it to work?
