Possible, yes. Probable, no because of space limitations.
I haven’t seen any recent CODO numbers and it would greatly depend on which engineering major.

Plus your GPA will determine any honorifics even if you don’t do honors college literally.
Why switch to FYE when you have CS? It is the most competitive major.

Accepted OOS FYE with no Honors or Merit.
4UW/4.9UW, 1590 SAT,13 AP, lots of ECs and volunteering but nothing national/state level.
Much less likely to attend without honors.

Im acctually unsure if I want to do CS or engineering. Would like to explore more in college, so would like to know if there is an option just in case
Yes, but a different kind of honors. There are the university latin honors that are solely GPA based, and then the honor medallion from honors college which is a combination GPA, required honors credits, and the scholarly project.
DS admitted OOS for CS. Felt overwhelm when applying honors college so gave up on the supplemental essay, 3.87/4.4, 1540, 11 APs (5 exams so far), internships related to major, lots of volunteer hours, school club president.
So glad for him and I am happy with tuition lock.

yep. but a chemE with a 3.8 shouldn’t sweat not doing honors college. The job market/grad school demand will be there
