Sheâs ok though. This was the last school she was waiting on and her #2 choice, so she just sat down and accepted admission to her #1 direct nursing program.
Crazy year for all you seniors, you will all end up somewhere perfect for you and make a ton of memories.
youâre giving me hope man! opening decision once i get home so youâre keeping the dream alive
What was her #1 choice?
DS25 accepted FYE. OOS, 1550 SAT, 4.0 UW/ 4.83 W.

When you phrase it that wayââsomehow Purdueââsome of that attitude may have seeped into your application and they (perhaps correctly?) think you arenât that into them but are big game hunting for acceptances. They read thousands of applications. sometimes they pick up on subtle things or make assumptions that may not be correct. If you end up with a stack of deferrals, somethingâs a little off in your application.
Direct nursing at Purdue is a crazy hard admit. Most people donât realize that. Purdue calls it a âcompetitive majorâ along with CS and pro flight â not even engineering is in this category. Congrats to your daughter on her acceptance to her #1 direct program. How exciting that she gets to start planning in earnest!
No shade if you choose a different path. We were also disappointed to not get honors, but internships or a co op was key and my son got an excellent job the October before May graduation with no honors program.
D25 got admitted to CS. 1500 SAT. 4.3 WGPA. Couldnât get info on when Honors college decision will be sent? Their website says in Feb. I see some here talking about it already.
Can someone also confirm where we can see any merit aid given?
Congratulations to all who got in.
Honors and merit were released with the decisions according to many upthread.
Deferred. Just curious whatâs the percent of people who get in after being deferred?
Test scores were required. Not optional.
Any admits below 1500 for FYE? Seems most of admits are 1500+! Trying to gauge if SAT/ACT scores were the differentiator as GPAs are comparable between admits and deferrals.

Canât believe my eyesâŠfull tuition scholarship and acceptance to the Honors College! Daughter is in-state and applied to Artificial Intelligence in the College of Science. She has a 4.36 GPA (7th in class) and 3.96 (unweighted). SAT was 1440. I canât believe this. CONGRATS to everyone on their hard work to get to this point!
