Yes! Itās crazy competitive to get into these Direct Nursing majors. She is going to go to Miami (Ohio) and it was sub 30% acceptance this year too. (Data was shared during an accepted student webinar in December.)

I donāt believe that Purdue releases that statistic.
If I recall from last few cycles, there were a handful of students who were accepted after deferral and that number seems to be increasing over the years.

We submitted my childs ACT score which was 33. Im not sure but I dont think that translates to a 1500 SAT. FWIW D25 OOS 4.0 UW, 4.3 W multiple apās for math and science all with a 4 or higher and ECās in music, theater and robotics.

Test scores are preferred/expected not required.
DS Accepted to Daniels Accounting OOS. 3.7 GPA, 1480 SAT, 11 APs. Sibling attends Purdue also. Pretty excited to have this option but heās undecided on going to same school as his brother. Does anyone know if they have released admitted student dates yet? Iāll probably have to trek out there so he can get a proper look vs a tag along with his sibling.

Accepted FYE OOS. SAT 1580, 3.96/4.5 GPA, 9 APs. Strong ECs and essays. We are VERY excited!

Anyone know anything about Artificial Intelligence at Purdue? Was admitted CS but also interested in this major as well
Yep, admitted student dates are released. Just log into the portal and youāll find the registration link in the drop down under VISIT PURDUE.
Purdue did probably the best job of welcoming visitors, staging tours, etc. of any school we visited last year. Hopefully the the admitted students days are more of the same.

*Purdue University expects applicants to have SAT or ACT scores. Recognizing that in some exceptional cases, applicants may not have been able to take a test, we allow submission of applications in those cases.
I believe that last cycle 92% of accepted students submitted scores. I expect it to be even higher this cycle.

Mom of Sophomore in Mechanical Engineering here, and just wanted to say that he loves Purdue! Itās been a great school for him and we couldnāt be happier with how itās going. Good luck to everyone regardless of Purdue or somewhere else you landā¦it all works out! Itās a stressful time, hang in there.
