Back in the stone ages, but when TSA already existed, I was flying to SJC
to my horror, I arrived at the airport, parked the car, walked up to the checkpoint with my printed at home boarding pass, and couldn’t find my driver’s license! The TSA officer was very nice
they looked at my Costco Amex with my blurry pic on it, saw that I had a bunch of other credit cards in the same name, and waved me through! The airport was not busy at all! Lol  I would not try to pull this off now.

I found my DL on the bottom of my bag when I arrived

In 1982, I went on a ten day trip to Quebec and the northeastern U.S. states. I crossed the border three times. I didn’t have my license because I had left it in my jeans pocket when I went to the bar the night before I left, and I didn’t bring those jeans on the trip. I can’t imagine how that would have worked today!

Yeah, they really grilled us when we came back to the US from Canada.

Had not heard of these ants. First found in Decatur GA many decades ago, but now spread to twenty states in the east.

Zion was one of the kids favorite parks—it was smaller so not overwhelming to them.

I am counting down the days until my preorder arrives. This article will have to hold me for now.
