ya I applied as a psych major. and heard nothing yet :

gunsandbutter, sf state is so much nicer than sdsu!!

unless you are from the bay area then that might be sort of lame.

It’s GORGEOUS and I love it. The only reason it isn’t my top choice is because of the weather, to be honest. (Yeah, I’m not too picky ;)). I’m from the middle of norcal (kinda by you actually!) in Sac town and it just is always hot in the summer and foggy in the winter and I kinda wanted to feel the socal breeze for some portion of my life. Haha, also, did you see how close SFSU is to the MALL? It’s literally next door. I have a feeling I’d shop grad school away. ;)

got in for Architecture

Friend 2 w/ 4.2 gpa & 1650 (yes 1650) sat got into civil engineering

However, I go to an outstanding public school

so I am a mom who has been reading your emails daily. Time to share… My D got in Architecture Friday with a 4.3w and around 2000 sat. I have read other threads that suggest that decision timing may be based on application date, but from what I know about my D and her friends that seems NOT to be the case. You all seem like you would be great classmates for my D and I wish you all the best at CP or where ever you end up. Hang in there and keep us posted!

Definitely not; I applied literally within the first couple of hours of October 1st! ;)

hahah same here!

gunsandbutter, heck yes! h&m is right across the street! favorite store of mine haha.

i love san francisco sooooo so SO SO much. if they had my major i would be there in a heartbeat. i love the weather. it’s much cooler there than in chico. i hate heat. blaahh

Well from what I hear, U of O is on the rainy side… that should be hecka sweet!
And it’s definitely a party school too, from what I’ve heard. Which means there’s GOTTA be some shopping up in there. I’ve never seen it, but I hear its gorgeous btw.

Hi,
Has anybody been accepted for any type of engineering yet?
I’ve seen some computer science decisions, but haven’t come across engineering…
I’m really worried, maybe I should’ve just put Business Admin =/

If I remember correctly, we’ve heard of some mechanical engineering students who have been accepted, and some bio med engineering students who have been accepted. There are a handful of majors are still waiting, several of which I’m sure are engineering majors. It IS cal poly anyway.
good luck.

My son is accepted into computer engineering.

I checked my calpoly portal an hour ago and there was no decision. I just checked it again and I have been accepted for journalism. So excited! And I’m out of state, too. So hang in there everyone–they’re still notifying. BTW I applied December 1st.

congrats!!!

don’t worry npham because if laxfan just found out today… that means they’re still sending them out so you’ve still got a shot

You’re right, soccerchick. I sent all my other apps on Dec. 1st, but I did sent Cal Poly’s on Nov. 30th right before midnight…I had forgotten that.
