<p>This is my first time posting but i have been watching . My son got accepted into mechanical engineering late this morning . He found out by checking his cal poly portal. His friend from out of state also found out this afternoon. He also got accepted into engineering. They are still sending out acceptances so keep watching.</p>
<p>so i checked my portal again…and the admit term says 2088!!! what the eff??? those admissions people better not have screwed up my application!!!</p>
<p>no worries jack! that’s right! that’s the code for fall 08! i’ve been looking up classes and that’s the code i use!</p>

<p>Sdchargers- My son has a 4.0 ucgpa. His sat was 1330 (700 math, 630 cr)
I hope this helps. His friend had a 34 act math. I am not sure what the rest of his stats were. Good Luck and keep checking. I checked many times this morning and about 11:45 it posted.</p>

I am excited though because I applied for housing at U of O. I think that might be a better environment for me anyway…</p>

<p>jack, I thought that 2088 was wrong too, but I emailed them and they explained it to me. I didn’t really understand but it’s right. And sdchargers, how do you know that March 15 is the last day? Didn’t they say that they would still send out notifications until April?</p>

<p>Arrg. The only reason I’m still waiting is because I’m pretty sure they haven’t notified a lot of humanities majors yet. Once I hear of psych majors getting in and I haven’t heard… I think I’ll stop checking.</p>

<p>nope, make it 5 man wait, since i been reading and updating this forum for a while. With each passing day, my uncertainty on my admittance to calpoly grows. My friends who had relatively same stats or less better than me have already received their letter.</p>
