<p>if you’re really set on poly… consider cuesta as a back up. i know… everyone really wants to go to a 4 yr right off the bat… but a jc isn’t that bad. the only school i applied to was poly and if i didn’t get in, i was goin to go to cuesta. that was my plan… and i’m probably goin to be takin classes at cuesta while at poly anyways… since the arch classes are so impacted at poly… i’ll probably have to (in order to switch/double in arch) and they’ve got an amazing transfer rate to poly!</p>
<p>plus… cuesta isn’t a bad school! it’s one of the best jc’s in the state! although… the only part i don’t like about it… is that it’s kinda in the middle of no where… it’s about 10 min or so away from the actually town… but i mean… it’s still slo and beachhh :)</p>

<p>yeah sdsu is a total party school so unless you are really into that scene then sdsu is not for you. it’s pretty crumby.</p>
<p>and i totally hate san diego. i have been there once. and will never go again. but i love los angeles, long beach, etc…</p>

<p>well… my boyfriend is originally from san jose… his family is there and a lot of his friends go to the school. i have a friend that’s there for computer engineering (he actually chose it over poly!) but i don’t know what their nutrition program is like. they have a good program for computer engineering… from what i’ve heard… but i don’t really know. i like the town… but i can’t really tell you much about the school. all i’ve heard from my friend is that there’s tons of asians in his classes… but that’s all. i’ll send him an email and ask what he thinks of it and get back to you!</p>
<p>Definitely a decent school. My friend’s dad went there for computer science and ended up revolutionizing color for Apple. (I don’t even wanna think about how crazy rich they are.) But he told me that he loved it.</p>
<p>Personally, I’m not a huge fan of the San Jose area. Wouldn’t wanna set up camp there. But that’s just me. It’s for sure a great way to go in the CSU world though, academically.</p>
<p>i don’t know… so parts of the town are really nice… but ohh man! i’ve been through quite a few scary areas haha and i’ve seen tons of signs in spanish haha so you should probably know some spanish if you’re gonna be there!! i’m not sure where the school is located though so you should probably figure that out… i’d hate to be in a creepy area!</p>
