Sure, although I’m not 100% certain what you mean by stats.

I had a 221 PSAT (750 math), an 800 Math-II, and a 5 on the AP music theory, although I doubt anyone cared about the last one. I didn’t send my SAT score in, as I took it in January (and although the overall went up, my math score actually went down shame).

I’ve also done some independent research stuff, both in cellular biology and batteries (I’ve been working on obtaining a patent in the second, although at this point it’s become economically inviable), and I’m in the Columbia science honors program.

I’ve taken the AMC and the USABO multiple times and never done particularly well.

I think, although I’ll never truly know, that I got in because I write well and am obsessed with science, so I was able to write effective essays, but, again, that’s just a guess.

sorry, i didnt see your message! i do a lot of tutoring at school and in my community, that sort of thing.
but i think my acceptance had more to do with my essays, which basically expressed how much i love science and research.

my schools way of doing gpas is a little whack, but i have a 5.1

Rejected from Wisconsin… disappointed, but not surprised.
Actually the worst part was that I had put too much stock in CC and that acceptances were coming a few days before rejections, so when I saw the envelope I thought I had gotten in. It was those 30 seconds of actual hope that made it all the more painful.

Either way, great job to everyone that got it, have fun!
