Anyone watch the show? I am not a revenge type person, but maybe, if I had all of those financial and computer resources, I might consider revisiting a few things in my past…

I have been hooked since the first episode and I love it. However, I cannot figure out how they can stretch this into a second or third season. The show also introduced me to a new song which I find very calming - Riverside by Agnes Obel.

I read that the creators intend to deal with different stories, not just this one, over the course of time.

I liked the show, at first, but I don’t like that she always “wins.” I think she should fail, at times, personally. jmo.

I suspect the last episode will be first scene of the first episode. With the photograph of all the people she has, I can see where it could take a few seasons to take care of that business. It will be interesting to see how it develops.

Edited to say: I don’t think she won much in the last episode. She made it clear that killing people was not what she wanted and that Lydia is in that situation because of the Graysons. I also think she loves Jack and is turning her back on that out of loyalty to her father.

A friend got me hooked on it. I now have my daughter watching it.

I cannot stand that Tyler kid. (he reminds me of The Talented Mr. Ripley) I cross my fingers that my kids don’t bring a kid like him home for a holiday weekend. Prob won’t happen because I don’t have a beach house or an internship to offer up…

I give Tyler one more episode. She has her sights on him. AND he isn’t even in the picture…lol.

I love revenge. I have some of the same fears as to how they can keep the storyline going for multiple seasons. I also agree that it is time for Tyler to go.

Another Revenge fan here. My two daughters (25 and 21) also watch. We’ve had some interesting discussions. Oldest daughter believes that Charlotte Grayson will turn out to be Emily’s half sister - Victoria had that affair with Amanda/Emily’s father, right? Also Victoria talked about how she wished that she hadn’t had Charlotte.

Tyler’s evil.

ohhh…Charlotte being Emily’s sister…never even thought about that…but the timing works…

good catch!

Love it!!! Only new show I’m watching.

IRL I dated (well, tbh, more like FWB) Victoria’s RL DH when I lived in NYC after college.

So can anyone speculate if Daniel is dead on the beach on the first episode, before the “5 months earlier” stuff started? If I remember (and that’s a stretch for me…haha) Declan and Charlotte saw Jack over Daniel’s body (dead or alive?) I am going to guess alive, but in bad shape and latch onto ignatius’ thought about Charlotte being Emily’s sister, but they will need blood and it will come out that Charlotte and Daniel don’t have the same two parents. Can you tell I’m bored tonight? Hubby is at D’s college for “Dad’s Weekend”

^ Yes. ;)

I’ve been wondering what they would do after the 5 months earlier stuff was done with to keep the plot going.

“I also think she loves Jack and is turning her back on that out of loyalty to her father.”

Jack is hawt. Screw loyalty. ;)

OMG - so glad I spotted this thread - love this show!! In fact - I am so bummed that it is not on a week from Wednesday due to some music/award show. I always DVR it so that I can watch some key exchanges more than once - best new show by far!

Don’t you think Jack should recognize Emily as Amanda he knew as a child? I think it is so cool that Sam - the dog - clearly remembers her.

My heart just melted when Sammy remembered her

^^Yes, but that has got to be one old dog!!

I thought about that myself and then figured probably not. Jack and Amanda knew each other as young children. Looks change. Also, the Amanda that Jack knew as a child no longer exists: Emily does. I think Jack sees just what he’s expected to see. Not possessing a devious nature, he has no reason to see Amanda hidden beneath Emily’s carefully honed facade. I do think the attraction he feels toward Emily blindsided him.

I like Jack, but I like Daniel more than expected too. I think he’s at a point in his life where he truly wants to become a better man. Can he survive Emily and Tyler and still want to move in the right direction? In the end, he may seek revenge himself.

Tyler is noticeably absent from the engagement party. Could he be the shooter or is that too easy?

So - what do you think the back story is on Tyler? A poser? Not from the wealthy family he pretends to be from? After everything that Daniel has? I’m a little surprised that Daniel does not see Tyler for who is he at least a little bit.

I like Daniel too - he really seems like a nice guy - when he is not drinking. Al the more reason to get Tyler out of the picture.

Me neither, Kajon! And he’s a friend of one of my Ds, and is a very nice guy in real life. :)
