Romani Jr is on the way

@Knowsstuff My cousin’s long-term SO’s name is Jude and EVERY time I hear his name, that pops into my head. They’ve been together for years but still… every. single. time.

Jude Law in The Holiday. Not too shabby!

Sage or Ren

Chris.

Alex, Ari, Asa

^All 2 syllables. Romani said 1 syllable.

So many fun and exciting options. I’m sure baby Jedi will be very happy with any name chosen!

Max.

@Himom I know. I’m reading them off to Mr R as they come up and a few made me go “huh. I didn’t think of that one.”

The majority of those listed so far were on the baby list name at some point or another.

Speaking of baby Jedi… my cousin sent baby a giant box of Star Wars Funko plushies. I, per usual, began crying when I opened it. Because that’s my thing apparently - I cry just about every time we get presents for baby lol.

How about just Jedi? Or Jed?

I considered Sage for D3. Went for a 2-syllable name after she was born though. Meeting her threw my preconceived ideas out the window!

@Knowsstuff I suggested Jedi and Mr R nixed it lol. Admittedly, I don’t think I’d ever actually be able to go through with naming my kid Jedi because kids are mean.

I suggested Yoda too and he said we could name our next dog Yoda ?

For a while, he was pulling for Chewbacca as a male middle name. I still don’t know if he was/is serious.

Ashe, Grey, Jace.

@greenwitch we’re not getting anything with their name on it just in case the same thing happens to us. We have the name we’re using now but we also know that there’s a chance of us meeting him/her and just going “Nope, not X… definitely a Y” and we’re OK with that.

My friend named her 1st kid Melody because that was the name that came to mind when baby was laid in their arms. One never knows how things will evolve. It’s nice to have some possibilities and make the final choice once Jedi is here.

Quinn, Reese, Reed.

I had also wanted Ghislaine for D3’s middle name. I really like that name, until recently, lol…

Went to delivery room with 2 options per gender (back before knowing the gender was so easy), per kid (3) so we could see which name fit… We agreed on the name for 2 of them; I just didn’t see either name for one of them. DH insisted we had to use one of our options so I let him pick. That name fits that child.

Jed reminds me of The Beverly Hillbillies. Swimming Pools, Movie Stars.
