Romani Jr is on the way

@romanigypsyeyes… Just having some fun here… Lol…

We use the first initial of someone that passed that had meaning to us and for remembrance for our kids first and middle names.

Don’t know if this males sense or something you do?

Rey or Ren

I like Jed because of the Jedi connection! It’s recognizable but uncommon.

The star wars names are reminding me of this story. I have a friend who decided to pick her second child’s name by putting ones she and her husband liked in a hat and having her first child pick one. Oldest child was Luke. He picks Leah as the name. This is 1994, so the first three movies are all that exist and star wars is not very popular at that moment. They didn’t even think of the connection until the kids are in elementary school and the first prequel movie comes out.

One of my sons looked like Chewbacca when he lets down his hair. He also passed for Hagrid. His football nickname was Firstnamebacca.

These days he looks like Jon Snow. ?

@Knowsstuff yes that makes sense.

I was serious about Jedi though. I really did put it on our list. It’s one of the few he took off lol.

@kiddie I adore a lot of the SW names. Luke, Leia, and Ben are among my favorite gendered names.

One other name I loved but we decided it was too long and just a touch too unique (I’m cognizant of making them too easy to find on google in the future) was a very obscure SW name - Temiri. He’s not even named in the films but if you saw the last Jedi (episode 8, came out in 2017), he was broom boy at the end of the film.

I don’t believe it will be a common name.

@lookingforward it was one of the most popular (in top 3) baby names in a country other than the US in 2019 lol.

My folks were on a Peter Pan kick when naming kids. Fortunately, they resisted and I’m NOT Tinkerbell! I have met a very nice female family friend whose name IS Tinkerbell!

Jules, Brett, Syd, Steph, Vic, Nat, Skye, Raine, Blake, Blaise, Tra, Nev

Jack

Basil, Sky, Kai (Kai means ocean in Hawaiian)

Too much stress for me to guess, Rom. Lol.

Sam, Cam

@lookingforward sorry LF lol. You’ll find out at some point in the next 11 weeks ?

Is there a prize for the correct guess? Maybe a picture of Sam or Cam?

@CottonTales Nah no prize but I will definitely be sharing some pictures of baby O. I’ll probably have to PM the link like I did with the wedding :slight_smile:

Yay! We’d love to see the little Jedi pics!

Italian for Star is Stella

Just playing around with starwars

@Knowsstuff, read the baby name guessing rules. Only one syllable.
