Fantastic news! Ren has been off IV nutrition for several hours and his sugar levels are still good. So we’ll be going home together tomorrow.
Because they’re so short staffed (lots of workers in mandated quarantine), they asked if it was ok that he just stay there for the rest of the night so that they didn’t have to do discharge, transfer, and then discharge paperwork again in the morning. Fine by us to wait a bit more time as long as we get him tomorrow.
Hopefully my next update will be us going home ?

A friend takes pictures of her babies every week for the first year, on the same quilt. It’s fun to watch them grow. I wish I had done the same when my kids were babies.
