Room decor changes possible?

<p>Ok, my kid sent in her deposit this morning. She’s going to Vandy. Now, she’s talking about painting and changing her room. My question:</p>

<p>Can single rooms be painted (a reasonable color), can shelves be attached to the walls and can beds be put up about 3 feet to allow stuff underneath.</p>

<p>No painting, shelves cannot be attached (if it requires drilling, screws, only some adhesives are permitted), bed risers are OK.</p>
