Perhaps the older studios will be better for him, even if they’re damper. Living space and a kitchen would be pretty important. … location in relarion to the class building also.
Note that “heatwave” has a different meaning, it could be 88° with 64° at night :). However last year it was a real heatwave and there were designated coolibg off spaces (which can be supermarkets…)
The newer studios come with breakfast and dinner five days a week, so that’s driving S24’s decision. I agree because he is not picky about what he eats, but if he cooks, he takes absolutely forever choosing recipes, shopping, creating a disaster in the kitchen, etc. I figure whatever leaves him more time for studying and site seeing.
Ok, that makes a lot of sense!
Do you know if they’ll follow the British pattern with a half term break and an autumn term, big break, winter term - or will it follow a US semester ?
It’s easy to travel through Britain because it’s not very large compared even to some US states. Weekend trips can include Bath or New Forest&Salisbury&Stonehenge; a day would suffice ti to to Cambridge, Hastings, or Brighton and back. Edinburgh requires a bit more time on the train but there should be red eyes.
