<p>Two people at work that I know of have kids in that school. One knows his kids are ok, the other still hasn’t gotten any info and has left here.</p>
<p>Agree with Int also. I am so sad for all the children killed, and their grieving families and community. Also in the local paper today – a Pastor who shot his granddaughter by mistake, thinking she was an intruder.</p>
<p>DocT–I can’t imagine what your co-worker is going though. Can you maybe look at various news sites to see if you can see his kids in any of the photos if you know what they look like?</p>

<p>My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved. If the shooter was a parent, I especially pray for the child of the shooter. I can’t even imagine what guilt he’ll go through as he gets older.</p>
<p>Every news person at the scene needs to tread cafefully. These are young CHILDREN who’ve just been part of a horrendous event. It’s no time to ask them ‘how do you feel?’</p>
<p>There were TWO shooters? Two people got together and said, let’s shoot up a kindergarten right before Christmas? I guess I can understand one person going crazy, but two?</p>

<p>ABC is saying that there was earlier speculation about more than one, but they are not saying that is the case at this time.</p>

<p>CNN just updated that the number of dead is close to 30 and most of them are children according to an official on site–police are holding a press conference right now. Confirmed that the shooter was 20.</p>
<p>I live in CT and let me tell you that I have been watching this all day so far and I am shaking. So terrible, right before Christmas too. My heart is just broken for all those innocent children and their families. And yes they keep going back and forth about how many shooters there were and who the other person in custody is.</p>
<p>The schools here are getting very panicky right now. I talked to my wife who’s a principal in another elementary school about 20 miles away and they are in lockdown with the police in front of the building.</p>
<p>This is horrific. I can’t imagine how traumatized these children and parents are. My heart aches for the parents whose small children were killed.</p>
<p>Shocking , pathetic, disturbing news. Sad to me to hear a boy , about 10 tell his story recollection of the morning - heartbreaking to hear the words and story coming out of a little boy’s mouth .</p>
