I agree. What I am saying is your child’s course rigor is strong, which is a primary contributor to the lower (relative to 4.4+) capped GPA. Fewer courses would have raised the capped GPA significantly. Counter-argument is that lower capped GPA but course rigor (as part of holistic review) is better. But CSUs may be looking at capped GPA (for a variety of reasons). Hopefully, some of the UC options account for the course rigor and fully weighted GPA more than SDSU appears to have.
