Any biological sciences majors accepted?
Just a hint to search for specific majors in this discussion thread. You can use the Magnifying glass in the upper right of the discussion, type in a key word like Biology, select Search within this topic and the search will list posts with your key word.
I just talked to admissions - admissions are rolling, decisions not necessarily based on major, more decisions will be announced.
I havenât seen any on here or Reddit.
Thank you! Can we expect all the decisions today or over next couple of days?
This is the 2024 decision timeline so decisions could follow a similar pattern or not.
2024: Early admits starting December 18, another wave January 4 and some rare admits posted Early February. Nursing admits posted March 5. Some audition based majors heard March 7. Another wave of Admits March 11, 2024 and March 13, 2024. Waitlists posted March 19, 2024. Denials posted March 20, 2024. Weberâs Honors college notification March 21, 2024
They said âthis weekâ but not today specifically
No, daughter was chemistry as they donât have Chemical Engineering.
I wonder if the new alternate major will affect rollout announcements - for example, those with secondary alternate majors may come later? Just speculating and wishful thinking!
Still waiting on Nursing decisions to start rolling out
There was a nursing admit 6 days ago.
Who typically applies to the Weber Honors College? They say they get about 2,500 applications a year and admit 300. Are those 2,500 usually from the early admit group? Are there any stats on the typical accepted student?
My daughter got accepted in December and later received an invitation to apply to Weber, which she did. Maybe everyone got it?
From the FAQ: Typically, the average high school weighted GPA is approximately 4.29.
Any in state Business Majors get notifications?
We have a friend who got in for Business on Tuesday. We are in state, but not local.
I got my acceptance on March 2nd for criminal justice. My plan has been to double major in criminal justice and political science, but that wasnât an option on the application. If I accept and attend SDSU, is this something Iâd be able to still do, or would I just have to stick it out as a single major?
Yes you can double major. Just work with your advisor during orientation to come up with a 4 year plan. No school lets you select a double major on the application during the admission process.
(Portal update noticed on March 4.)
