My daughter was accepted today!
So surprised!

Expected to not hear back until March!

Public School in California , took 4 honors and 8 APs with all 5s on the APs .if I recall her csu gpa was 4.1 and her school weighted gpa was 4.3 and the unweighted was 4.0

My daughter was admitted OOS. She checked portal and it was there. She received an email a little later.

Do SDSU admit decisions continue to trickle out after this first wave last week? Or are the remaining generally just expected directly in March?

The last couple of years I believe they did a couple rounds of releases before March. Last year there were some Dec and some Jan so there still may be another release or two before March.

Last year 2024, the majority of early admits were notified in December and there was a smaller wave in January. In 2023, the majority of early admits in December, smaller wave in January and a few admits in February.

Given that everyone applies with the same deadline, do you know why they choose to notify some applicants early? And how they decide who is in the early round(s)?
