Scripps Class of 2029 Official Thread

Update - she received her financial aid letter and it includes a 25k per year “Scripps College Grant” (not a loan and guaranteed for all four years assuming good academic standing). This is odd because we qualified for $0 need-based “financial aid” at other SLAC that are identical in price. However at all of the other schools she received strong merit aid offers. It seems Scripps is doing their “discounting” (which we know is what merit aid really is) in the financial aid letter instead? Curious if others have seen this?
