Im aiming for a 1500+ on the SAT. As for my background, you may not know i was mexican just by looking at me. But my dad’s father was a low-class immigrant from mexico. He dealt with a lot of poor conditions that ultimately led to his death wayyy before I was born- before he even met my mom. It affected my Dad a lot and was part of the reason he dropped out of college and never got a degree, and now pushes me to go to a good college so I dont end up like his dad. While I am not very dark skinned, I have a Mexican last name and I do speak spanish. A hispanic-heavy migrant center recently opened up near our neighborhood, and I am currently trying to get a group of kids from my school to raise money and help them out
