Siberia is what I really look forward to watch right now. It is so different.

Some of the shows I watch wont return until JANUARY!
W.T H.?
I am dragging out the first season finale of Deadwood now.
Wow.
Im thinking of getting the whole thing for H for xmas.

House of Cards and Orange is the New Black. Glad it is now September and other shows will be starting because I was not sure I could hang on until January 2014 (I think) for the next season of House of Cards and Orange…

Love Rizzoli and Isles! During regular season it’s SCANDAL!

Orange is the New Black is a difficult show to watch. Are they going to do a back story on each of the prisoners? I only watched up to the episode where the main character finally was off the cook’s torture list. Frustrated that GOT will be a long wait.

We love “The Bridge” on FX. Excellent show with excellent cast.

If you have Netflix, I highly recommend Terriers. It was cancelled after one season but was probably the best show on TV at the time (2010). Great acting, great characters, great stories. Give it a look!

And no, it has nothing to do with dogs.

Yes. The back stories are the best part of the series, IMO.

HIMYM is amazing

I just watched Last Tango in Halifax on PBS. It’s running September 8 - October 13 and stars Sir Derek Jacobi. The first episode is online if you need to catch up. I really enjoyed it!

I finished watching Alphas and grew to really like it, but alas, cancelled on a cliffhanger.

I just started watching Nip/Tuck on Netflix.

Anyone watch Silk on Masterpiece the last 3 Sundays? British legal system is so vastly different from ours–barristers, solicitors, pupils, clerks, QC’s, etc.

Spent a lot of time on Wikipedia getting up to speed.

The UK has produced 3 seasons–US has broadcast only the first.

My daughter talked me into watching all of parks and recs this summer. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

We are caught up in *Broadchurch * at the moment. We find out who killed 11-year-old Danny Latimer in three more episodes (out of eight).

Broadchurch is a BBC production, starring David Tennant. (Doctor Who fans will also recognize Rory as the village priest.)

Highly recommend.

Also Orphan Black repeats start this Saturday, if you missed it the first time.

MADad - I have been watching the show online this week. Like you, I’ve had to look a lot of things up to hone up on the British legal system. It’s so different from ours and one of the things I’ve found interesting watching the show. I’ve been watching online which allows me to pause and look up, or replay a section as sometimes I don’t catch the lingo the first time. You can find the 2nd season online free.

If you are a Law and Order fan, the UK version is pretty good.

Oh Mom of2 - it is , but far removed from standard practice. Husband regularly cringes and does not ‘suspend disbelief’!

Watched the first episode of Last Tango in Halifax on PBS last Sunday night.
I really enjoyed am looking forward to watching it on Sunday nights while waiting for Downton Abbey to return.

Season 4 of Boardwalk Empire started last Sunday. This is such a wonderful show with the most amazing production values, and casting, on television. I love how they weave actual real life figures into the storylines. Excellent period entertainment.

I also like the UK version of Law and Order. Mostly so I can practice my English  I have noticed though, that a lot of the stories are just like the American version. It’s like watching a translation. Fun.
