Bissou, I promise you it is not usually this horrifically cold!

Yes it’s super windy and cold today - but at least it’s not snowing! Good luck bisouu!

Just checking in…so grateful to have had early acceptances, because today was a “no” from CMU and LAMDA. Earlier in the week…waitlisted at Pace and BU. But happy that S has been accepted to USC, Rutgers, CalArts, Fordham, Chapman and Northwestern. Many choices at VERY different programs. Still waiting to hear from NYU and SUNY Purchase, but I don’t think those decisions will sway S from top 3 choices. He has already rescinded his applications at his safeties… Muhlenberg, URI and Westminster (in Salt Lake City), and will probably rescind all but his top 3 by this weekend. Good luck to everyone still waiting on decisions and I look forward to keeping up with everyone as they make their decisions. Yesterday it was 75 here…today SNOW!! Must be Springtime in the Rockies!! LOL!

Today was also a no for me from CMU and LAMDA. This was my second double rejection day, last saturday was BU and Otterbein. Not the best weekend. The weird thing was, the only rejection that really stung for me was UNCSA. On the bright side I now have all my results in and tonight I do a Skype session with my MTCA coach evaluating my options. I’m visiting Southern Methodist tomorrow and sitting in on classes on Friday and visiting and sitting in on classes for CCM next week.

So I’ll be making a decision between SMU, CCM, and Hartt around May 1st, and my parents are on board with making a second deposit if I get off either waitlist and I want to change schools. So fingers crossed, but even if Rutgers or Scotland don’t pan out, I already have some wonderful options!

Have a great trip, Josh. You’ve got some great options, even without waitlist possibilities. (though I can see why you’d want those to go your way.)

D is still waiting on Syracuse and USC, but has begun narrowing her choices, and is making calls today to respectfully decline offers at some of the schools that extended her offers of admission. Throughout this whole process, my biggest hope was that when April 1 came around, she would have some choices, and she has been blessed to have some very, very good choices.

Sending good wishes to all still waiting, and especially those waiting for the magic news that they’ve been taken off the waitlist for their top-choice schools.

I can’t believe we are closing in on April 1st and are still waiting on 5 schools! So frustrating. So hard to plan any campus visits over spring break. Grrrrrrrr!!!

We are done! Daughter has committed to Drew University! Thank goodness…

SO happy for your D, Bissou!

Yay bisouu! Congrats!!!

Congrats to you and D, bisouu. I can almost feel the sigh of relief from here. Ahhhhhhh…enjoy!

Congrats! I’m assuming it was a great day!

Congratulations and hugs all around! :)

Congratulations! Great school ~ she will love it!

Congrats @Bisouu and D!!

Wonderful, good to be done, I bet.

Congratulations @Bisouu and D! What a great program, with great connections!

Yay bissou!!

Congrats @Bisouu and D!!! Enjoy the rest of spring break!

I can breath…she is happy and thrilled and it feels right…
