Should I or can I retake a math class this summer that I got a C in?

The reason I’d like to take it is not really about my GPA, since I managed a 3.83 without it. I just want to have a better foundation because I’m taking trig senior year (next year) and want to be prepared.
I’m just wondering, are colleges okay with that? Is it allowed?
I’m already taking French 3 over the summer because I can’t stand the teacher for it at my school.

If you’re not concerned with GPA, I would recommend you self study parts of the the math class yourself with use of a preparatory book, etc. You should also do this alongside going to a cheap math academy/help center if they have one near where you live, where they just teach you parts you don’t understand. You could also get a tutor. If it is online, I think it would not help you since as well as being in a shorter time span, it would be without a teacher to help you as it was during the year. If it was at school, there would probably be a ton of busy work for homework, some of which you would already know, and it would take up alot of time if you are also taking French 3. Getting a tutor or self studying with some practice tests would help you determine the areas you are weakest on in that class and you would be able to give yourself more time for those rather than being rushed by a yearlong class crammed into a few weeks.

See if khan academy has a course on the math you want to redo.
