I have no idea if it’s happening to others as this is the only thread on the topic.
Maybe you should put a banner on top of the page asking and directing people to this thread with a link.

Not having to sign in lasted all of two days for me.
I had to log in half a dozen times last night
I have to sign in every other time. Plus whenever I switch from phone to computer to tablet.
Guys, can you please confirm if when you need to sign in you are asked to provide your username and password? For me, it takes me through authentication every time but it does not ask me for the credentials.
It doesn’t ask me for credentials but I have to hit the sign in button a few times before it keeps me signed in when trying to move through the new posts.

I have to sign in every time, including providing credentials. Using an iPhone.
I’ll send you a screenshot next time. I had to hit the “sign in” button several times yesterday…the ad was at the bottom of the page and I was not signed in (according to the little thing at the top of the page).
When I hit the sign in button, I did not have to use my username or password…went right to the sight and the ad disappeared.
Happened at least a half dozen times yesterday.
Sometime I have to put in email address/password and other times all I have to do is tap on sign in.
I can tell immediately I’m not signed in because none of the threads show #of new posts. I only access CC through a bookmarked forum.

@CCadmin_Sorin I can get to the site on my mobile, but it never has me as logged in , despite having the keep me logged in box checked. When I go to the sign in screen, I hit “sign in”, but then it takes me back to the forum home page, not to where I need to reenter my login information. I can usually read one post but then when I go back to the latest posts, it logs me back out and I have to redo the sign in. That usually happens 3-4 times before it finally allows me to stay on.

I am on a desktop computer. I have to sign in each time. It remembers my user name and password, but I still have to click “sign in”. The “Remember Me” button does nothing.
Also, even though I am signed in, I am getting an advertising banner along the bottom. If I close it, it pops up again when I open a new thread.

Today is the worst it has been. The ad across the bottom of the forum, even though I’m supposedly signed in, is beyond annoying. @CCadmin_Sorin I sent you a screen shot. Look at the one that clearly gives me the option of “sign out” which means I’m signed in.
If this is what folks checking out this site see before they create an account, I can completely understand why some would choose to just move on. Who wants to join a site with an ad blocking a portion of the text. These prospective newbies would have no way to know that this ad isn’t supposed to be there if they log in as members. Just saying.
Ok…it’s 5:17 or so…and the annoying ad is now off to the side (where it belongs).
What is making this happen? This isn’t the first day this has occurred.
I’m getting the ads now too, when not signed in. Which again today I wasn’t.
Mine are pop up boxes with video’s in them. They also don’t go away even when clicking on the x. It just repositions the video into the middle of the page! And the video gets larger!
I am on an IPad, FYI.
