Singaporean connection

heh shrug
i think i woulda picked SFS

does anyone know when the NUS outcomes are going to be available for the category D international applicants? the wait is awfully annoying. :(.

I forgot what category I was (Singaporean living abroad, overseas qualifications) but they said “early to late May” for me, probably a similar timeframe for others?

I’m Singaporean and I haven’t received anything yet…

I did the SAT practice test, i got 1880!!! my math was 700 (i made 3 careless mistakes :frowning: ), my critical reading was 550, and my essay i expected about 630, sigh does that mean my UC berkeley dream is burst?

1880 is way too low for Berkeley, but it’s not the end of the world–you can definitely raise your SAT score through practice.

Also Mr Brilliant not sure if you know this, I just scanned through your posts but UCBerkeley doesn’t defer admissions so you should only apply in your second year of NS.

Im now currently studying for the A levels, im taking the heaviest possible load…3H2,2H1, 2 H3 subjects…when would be the right time to study/take SATs, cause i want to go overseas and study (US preferrably)?

1234d you should have received it by now… Log in to your NUS online app status thingy… I’m an intl who did JC in singapore so I’m in the same category as you

fiona…do you happen to be the genius who topped the singapore physics olympiad, with gold medal in singapore chemistry olympaid, bronze for iCho, and the most brilliant student in mr phang’s tuition?

^wowwwwwww

I haven’t received my decision as of now too.

If that’s all true, wow! Speechless

^ MIT students are amazing (hackers)…

brilliantminds: yeah, i think the fiona on cc is the genius you are talking about :P

Genius…?? Whizzzzz kid :)

1234d you’re asking to be exposed. Like seriously.

Yeah, yeah c’mon return the favor. How much of a genius is he/she?

what would you say is the actual average ‘cutoff’ for SAT I scores at NUS business undergrad? I know how it says on the web that 2100 is ‘minimally sufficient to make a competitive app’, but just wanna know your opinions. im thinking its probably 2200+?

^ All of them (1234d, fiona_ etc) are geniuses. But we all know that already, isn’t it? =p
