I had slippers but the dog ate them… I just wear socks indoors. Nothing against slippers, just that I don’t really need them.
Slippers - yes, most definitely. Ballet style worn over socks at home. Cold feet with socks only.
Absolutely essential packed item for my frequent travel. Who knows what walked on those hotel floors last
I love my fleece lined slippers, which are like booties. Get a new pair every year at Marshall’s for about $10. All my floors are hardwood and my feet wouid freeze in the winter without slippers on. I also love my fleece robe. Keeps me quite toasty.
Have a robe, but rarely wear it. Winter one is fleece. Summer ones are Japanese yakatas. They are practically antique since I believe they date back to 1961–64 when the family lived in Japan.
My slippers are the wool clogs from L.L. Beans.
I own slippers but don’t often wear them. I like wearing gym shoes inside in the winter and Tevas in the summer. Both are “inside” shoes.
Ugg slippers in winter, flip-flops in the summer. I don’t object to shoes in the house but rarely do it. No robe, but I wear cotton cardigans. I sleep in a t-shirt and pull on lounge pants or jeans when I get up, top it off with a cardigan. My favorite cardigans are ones I make by slitting a sweatshirt down the front and sewing in a separating zipper. I never wear a bra in the house, I don’t care who’s there. Bras are uncomfortable and I don’t wear them unless I’m leaving the house. If you don’t like seeing me without a bra go to someone else’s house.
Here in the Philly suburbs, I have never known any household where shoes are not worn inside, except for 1 Asian friend who just moved into a new home - but even she said as guests we didn’t need to take our shoes off. I also don’t know how you all walk in bare feet/stocking feet with no support all day - my feet would ache if I did that. I have never found a pair of slippers I love; either the support isn’t good or they are make my feet too hot. Slide-on Skechers are my indoor footwear of choice in cold months (love my new memory foam pair!) and I wear flip flops in the warm months. I would wear flip flops all year long if the house wasn’t so darn cold in the winter!
I generally slip into a pair of crocs when I kick off my shoes; I do have a couple pair of more traditional “slippers” although I seldom wear them (I think they were all gifts at one time or another).

Incredibly comfortable, in fact I’ve accidentally forgotten to take them off and found myself wearing them in the grocery store. I wear them in the cooler months. When it’s warm, then it’s Vionic flip flops.
Got H and DS each a pair for Christmas. They love them.
Go figure, our dog - who has never chewed anything but his toys and pieces of paper - chewed up H’s slippers. Expensive to replace but easier to deal with than a very sad H who now glares at the dog.
Most of us in HI are barefoot in homes. We do wear footwear outdoors and elsewhere though. I love the feel of our hardwood floors under my feet.
Though I don’t wear slippers my SIL has these and I covet having a pair for some purpose. She adores them.
I was looking at the Acorn slippers online today…and they also offer for $15 replacement fleece insoles. I think I’m back to Acorns!

No robes worn in this house but we do wear PJs.

I wear socks 24/7. My feet are always freezing. My grandma used to grump I would never be able to get married. She was wrong…twice 
We don’t wear shoes indoors; nor do most of the people I know. Maybe it’s because it’s winter/mud season half the year or maybe because it’s a rural area–not sure, but it keeps the flooring much cleaner.
No robe or slippers, either.

I never wear them outside–only wear them in the house.
No shoes house here. Never slippers, never socks. Barefoot every season. I love being barefoot.
I only wear socks when I have to and often go without socks when out of the house as well.
I have a big, heavy duty, terry cloth robe. I use it for about 5-10 minutes a day slipping it on after toweling off in the shower until I get dressed. In warmer months, I usually forgo that as well.

Makeup? What’s that? I run a comb through my hair and pull on some comfy clothes. Extremely low maintenance.
@Bromfield2 Those are what my kid and his teammates wore for soccer when off the pitch.
Maybe I’m not only in the minority not wearing/having slippers it now is apparent that wearing the same shoes outside INSIDE is out of the ordinary! If it’s dry outside and I’m not walking in the dirt and I wipe my shoes when I walk in on the rug…not a big deal for me!
Wonder if this is one of those “what you did when you were growing up”. I don’t think my mom was insistent on us taking off our shoes- unless they were wet or dirty.
I promise I’m not jumping up and down on the furniture with them!!
I’m with you, abasket. I never grew up knowing anyone who took shoes off to enter a home- unless it was a very messy snowy day or something. That would be the exception. We wear our outdoor shoes in the house during most of the day and slippers or casual shoes to hang out or after we change out of work or athletic clothes.
