So..is anybody watching House....because I thought yesterday's

episode was very good…

Very, very good…even though I wasn’t happy with the results…the results made sense…

I really like Lisa Edelstein on House…and she is aging very well…

I thought is was very good…but I had some mixed feelings. I don’t have any experience with dealing with someone with addiction issues, but it seemed to me that at least some of the people around House should have anticipated that this situation would be a serious trigger and maybe sought to head it off.

Or else it might have been part of a story line about choices: which was more important: for House to stay clean, even if it meant not being there for Cuddy? or being there for Cuddy only with the crutch he might not be able to resist, and then compromising the relationship anyway?

I, too, thought it was a really good episode, especially with all the dream/movie scenes. When this season started with the two of them in a relationship many wondered how they could continue to make the show interesting without conflict between them. I think using his addiction to set up what I assume will be a break-up for at least a bit was an interesting way to remind us about what they have been through.

I loved it! thought the Broadway “musical dreams” number was hysterical! Frankly, the series need to do something different cause it was getting very repetitive [House always has an epiphany near the end] and predictable.

I forgot to tivo it!!! Hulu and Fox aren’t showing it yet. Is there anywhere else I can look?

I really like Lisa Edelstein

Me too…she’s funny and beautiful.

Actually I thought it was a bit weird or that it tried too hard. But, then again, it didn’t have my full attention, so I probably missed some.

I agree that House’s epiphany in the last 5 minutes of the show is getting old hat.

I like watching Lisa Edelstein, and always wonder how she can get away with dressing in such s*xy outfits if this was supposed to be work. Oh yeah, this is TV.

I loved the episode too, although I could have done without the beheading.

limbeans, a couple of years ago D and a guy friend were going to be House & Cuddy for Halloween. I told her she could not leave the house in the kind of clothes that Cuddy wears.

Here’s my theory about this season: The producers decided to get House & Cuddy together finally; did several episodes with the new relationship and then waited to see viewer reaction. (Remember, there several weeks without a new episode earlier in the season.) Viewer reaction was negative; people don’t tune in to see House googly-eyed and trying to be nice. They tune in to see him being an unapologetic jerk. So they shot the rest of the season about their growing problems and the breakup. No happy ending for House; viewers will find it boring.

BTW, I am really liking Amber Tamblyn.

Are Amber and Jesse going to get together?

It sort of looked that way for a minute, but Chase has already had his staff love connection, and so have Foreman and Wilson. That leaves Taub, or House. So maybe Amber will be House’s rebound hookup?

Amber was also in Joan of Arcadia- ( which I could never keep track of) &
the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants!

I think Martha & Chase should get together- I think they would be a nice couple- they both really care about people.

I also love the Taub & Foreman roommate thing- they need to keep that going.

You can watch House on fox.com, but have to wait 8 days…

^That is the main reason I’ve stopped watching house. I’d miss an episode and lose interest or forget before I got the chance to watch it online, and I don’t like to skip episodes so then I never catch up again.

I am now getting hulu plus- you can watch the show the next day. $7.99 mo & we don’t have cable- so it works pretty well.

This episode was good, especially considering the last couple lackluster episodes. Still, whenever I watch I wish the writers would go somewhere with M3 (Martha).

Another thought: how do you think Thirteen will be reintroduced (she’s still a full time cast member, but isn’t on the show due to her role in a movie)?

Do we know where Thirteen has been? I remember there was something about a clinical trial, but she didn’t show up – was that how it ended? Hopefully when she comes back, she’ll be cured. And hopefully she doesn’t get back with Foreman, because I also love the Foreman/Taub roomie situation.

Well, the actress was shooting Tron:Legacy and I’m pretty sure the character at least had airline tickets to Rome.

Olivia Wilde had to work on Cowboys and Aliens during the season taping, which is why she isn’t in any episodes.

What happened with Thirteen is that Foreman found out that she purchased tickets to Italy. He found out about a Huntington’s trial taking place near her departure date, so he assumed she was planning to participate in that. After she left, Foreman found out she was not registered in the trial, and she eliminated all means of communication.

Wilson is such a busybody! I’ve never met a man in real life who yentas as much as he does–acting as the go between for house and cuddy, pleading house’s case, etc. I did enjoy Amber Tamblyn’s falling for the cowboy patient though.

^^ Yes that was funny. I also (sort of) found it funny that every time we saw House he was with a different hooker.

It was nice to see an episode where there was some serious focus on the medical mystery. But House is spiralling out of control with the self-destructive behavior. Is Thirteen going to ride back in, cured and ready to save him?
